Broadcast Tools Universal 4.1 MLR»Web – Web-based RJ45/XLR Switcher w/ Silence/AES Loss Detector

The Universal 4.1 MLR»Web is a web-based transparent four input, one output switcher/router with mechanical latching relays designed to pass AES or stereo signals. The unit may be configured to monitor the output for analog audio silence or loss of AES clock when configured for AES switching. It features a browser-based HTML5 web interface and supports SSL/TLS email (Gmail, etc.), SMS-email notification, as well as SNMP.

The Universal 4.1 MLR»Web is perfect for all types of passive signal switching via front panel switches, contact closures, logic or web interface. Each input features stereo female Neutrik XLR and standard RJ45 audio jacks. The output features stereo male XLR and standard RJ45 audio jacks. Switching is accomplished via mechanical latching gold contact relays, which means that the unit can route a signal in either direction and will keep routing signal even after losing power. Due to the passive nature of the switching, any input level and impedance can be used. Inputs may be balanced or unbalanced, while output levels, impedance, distortion, noise and balancing will match that of the selected input.
